They can build and 'upgrade' flats to have the lifts stop at every floor, but they also build multi-storey car parks in these estates that still make people climb up to a maximum of 5 floors to get to their cars.

Haha! So true: lift-landing on every floor but still gotto climb carpark-stairs. Maybe you can run as an independent in the next election, promising car-park upgrading...

since u guys already got cars, i guess the idea is to make u walk to make up for the lost exercise when u walk up and down inside mrt stations and walk to busstops....

blueheeler - Are you kidding? I'm happily apathetic here. Not about to deal with the murky nature of politics.
phelan - Which could be true, what you said, but the lifts were upgraded at the residents' expense ostensibly for the elderly in the estate. Don't the elderly need to get to their kids' cars as well?
